Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

AdviceSahi is operated by Argus Fintech PVT. LTD. ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to protecting the personal information of insurance advisors and their clients who use our platform at dash.advicesahi.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Advisor information: name, email, phone, IRDAI registration number, company, designation, city, experience, and uploaded license documents.
• Client information: name, email, phone, date of birth, annual income, monthly EMIs, savings, and insurance policy details provided through any import method.
• Policy information: insurance company, policy type, policy number, sum assured, premium amount, policy term, and maturity date — extracted from uploaded documents or entered manually.
• Payment information: transaction IDs and payment status only. Card, UPI, and banking details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, device, and browser information for platform analytics and improvement.

3. Gmail Access

AdviceSahi's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you choose to connect your Gmail account, AdviceSahi requests read-only access solely to locate insurance policy documents. Specifically:

• We apply a strict keyword filter. Only emails containing terms such as "insurance", "policy", "premium", "renewal", and insurer names are retrieved. Personal, financial, or unrelated emails are never accessed.
• We extract only structured policy fields: insurer name, policy type, policy number, sum assured, premium amount, and policy term. Nothing beyond these fields is read or retained.
• Email content — body text, sender details, subject lines, and attachments — is processed in memory and immediately discarded. It is never stored on our servers.
• It is technically impossible for anyone at AdviceSahi, including employees, advisors, or administrators, to view your email content. Only the extracted policy data fields are saved.
• Gmail data is never used for advertising, user profiling, or any purpose other than providing the policy import feature.
• Gmail data is not shared with third parties, except Google Gemini AI which is used for document parsing and is bound by Google's privacy terms.
• You can revoke Gmail access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Document Upload Privacy

When an advisor or client uploads a policy document (PDF or image), it is processed by an AI service for text extraction. Only the structured insurance fields listed above are saved. Raw document content is not retained beyond the extraction process. Uploaded files are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage accessible only to the associated advisor account.

5. DigiLocker Integration

When connecting DigiLocker, AdviceSahi accesses only issued insurance documents via the Government of India's DigiLocker API. Only policy details are extracted and stored — raw document content is never retained. Access complies with the National e-Governance Division's data policies.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

AdviceSahi operates on a monthly and yearly subscription model. Subscription payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We store only transaction IDs, payment status, and subscription dates. We never store card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details.

7. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to advisor and client data is restricted to the associated advisor account only. Platform administrators can access aggregated platform statistics but cannot access individual client financial data.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at legal@advicesahi.com. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
